Everything needed to cite, embed or screenshot the Free EU Steel Quota Tracker on a deadline.

What this is, in three sentences

The Free EU Steel Quota Tracker shows daily balances of the EU's steel import quotas — the tariff-free allowances that decide when the 50% out-of-quota tariff applies under Regulation (EU) 2026/1384, the permanent measure that replaced the steel safeguard on 1 July 2026. It tracks all 26 product categories and every quota line — country quotas, FTA pools and residual pools — including the United Kingdom's own quotas for exporting into the EU. It also maps workshop steel grades (EN3B, EN24, S355, 304 stainless, DX51D…) to their EU quota categories.

Reuse — you're welcome to

Charts, screenshots and figures from the tracker are free to reuse in news reporting with credit to "TrueNorth Engineering" (link appreciated: truenorth-engineering.co.uk). The underlying quota data is European Commission information reused under Commission Decision 2011/833/EU, mirrored daily by Swedish Customs (Tullverket); the tracker's presentation, grade mapping and analysis are ours.
